Our Goals
As the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band revive their ancestral knowledge and practices on Cotoni-Coast Dairies and other areas of the North Coast, FONC continues to be actively engaged in the planning processes that will eventually open more public access to Cotoni-Coast Dairies and other land in the area. FONC first and foremost honors and respects the cultural sites and stewardship practices that enabled Native Americans to live in harmony with their environment before the arrival of colonists.
We think the most important goals for Cotoni-Coast Dairies are:

Now that the property is a national monument, visitation and use can increase exponentially, as happened with Ft. Ord, where visitors jumped from 40,000 to 400,000 within a few years of its designation as a national monument.
